3. Text Messaging (SMS) Programs

We offer SMS text messaging to customers who opt in when submitting an ICBC Autoplan renewal or change request through this website: a confirmation text when your request is submitted and, where needed, messages from our team about that request.

Opting in. You opt in by providing your mobile number and ticking the optional SMS consent box on the ICBC request form on this website, or by expressly requesting text messages from one of our licensed advisors. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any insurance product or service from us.

Message frequency. Typically one confirmation message per submitted request; additional messages may follow while we handle that request.

Fees. We do not charge for this service; however, message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Contact your carrier for details.

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message from us to cancel at any time. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages from us unless you opt in again. If you later want to receive texts again, reply START to our number, or contact us and we’ll help you restart messages.

Help. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, call us at 604-582-0557, or email info@primeinsurance.ca. We are open 7 days a week.

Privacy. Mobile numbers and message content are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your mobile information, and mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Delivery. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your carrier and is not guaranteed. These programs are intended for Canadian mobile numbers and for individuals who are at least the age of majority in British Columbia.

4. Our Rights & Reservations

We retain the right to refuse service to any person, at any time, and for any reason. We may, at our sole discretion, make changes to this website at any time without prior notice — including terminating, altering, suspending, or discontinuing any aspect of our website or the services offered through it. Additional rules or restrictions on website use may be introduced at any time.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of our website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We will not be held liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of our website or any related service, content, feature, or product.
